I have been cutting my own hair (clippers #1) for over 20 years, recently grew a beard so figured it was time to get it groomed.
I found Beards and Co. And booked for the beard trim. Wow what a great experience and loved the vibe of the place. Not your typical barber shop that for sure.
I ended up having the beard and trim and will 100% go back.

This place is unlike any barber experience that I’ve ever had. From the “old money” vibe of the shop right down to the professionalism and how personable Ali the owner was… (music was a nice touch too I love a good Frank Sinatra playlist) This is the true definition of A GENTLEMAN’S BARBERSHOP.
He takes the time to explain things to you And why he’s doing the things he’s doing. He REALLY cares about the clients that he brings into his shop.
There’s definitely no other place that I’m going to be going other than here to get my hair done at thanks Ali! - Hussein Zahoui··from Google
I don’t usually write long reviews, but when it comes to Ali the Barber, words honestly don’t do justice to the level of respect and loyalty he’s earned over the years.
Ali isn’t just a barber — he’s a name. A legend in the community. Long before social media hype, Ali was already known as the barber. The one people talked about. The one other barbers learned from. Many of the barbers working today, whether directly or indirectly, were influenced by Ali’s techniques, standards, and work ethic. He set the bar.
When Ali left Windsor years ago, I remember telling him something very clearly: “If you ever come back — even if it’s 20 years later — you’ll still be my barber.” I meant it then, and I meant it every single year after. I even told my barber at the time, “The day Ali comes back, I’m leaving anyone and going right back to him.” That’s not hype — that’s loyalty earned.
And here we are.
Ali’s return isn’t just another barber opening a chair. It’s the return of a master craftsman. His experience shows in every detail — from the consultation, to the precision of the cut, to the confidence and calm he brings to his work. You don’t rush greatness, and Ali never has. His fades are clean, his lines are sharp, and his understanding of hair and face structure is on a different level. This is what decades of real experience looks like.
What truly sets Ali apart is consistency. Trends come and go, but skill like this lasts forever. You walk out feeling clean, confident, and taken care of — the same way people felt years ago when Ali was already known as one of the best.
If you’re looking for someone who just picked up clippers, keep scrolling.
If you’re looking for a famous barber, a teacher of barbers, a true professional with decades of respect behind his name — Ali is your guy.
Some loyalties don’t expire.
Welcome back, Ali.
